The average citizen leftover from the Captain Tripps plague wouldn't be worried by the sight of this guy, the Walkin' Dude, as he strolls down the highway in his denim shroud of evil. But they should be. That is, unless they have an A-bomb in tow, and then there's really nothing to worry about.
Randall Flagg is seemingly omnipotent, yet he cannot stretch his hand out to smite the good people of the Boulder Free Zone. He'd just prefer they come to him. He also seems to know exactly who's coming to get him as he hides away in his Las Vegas fortress of solitude, yet is so lazy that he leaves the dirty work to his minions of lesser intelligence, who are quickly beginning to doubt his power.
There is no doubt, however, that Flagg is quite powerful, and this plague has given him the opportunity to take over what's left of the world. But as the end grows closer, the cracks in his shell appear larger. So many things go wrong - many right in front of him - that his plans quickly evaporate in the hot Nevada sun. Eventually, Flagg is outdone by his arrogance, his blindness, and his overall insufficiency as the complete being of evil he is supposed to be. In short, for a Prince of Darkness, he is overrated.
INTELLIGENCE - 6: He seems to know much more than he tells, but rarely acts in time to actually prevent setbacks in his plans.
POWER - 9: He is a demon of evil, armed with many powers, many of which he never uses.
VILENESS - 5: He killed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, raped his "queen," and never cut his hair. What a nut!
SWAY - 8: Telepathically guided his minions but never used this power when it counted the most.
PURITY - 8: He was a pretty commanding force of evil, set on ruling all, but his temper seemed to take away from it.
PHYSICAL - 6: The Denim Demon won't strike fear into anyone, but that "turning into a crow" trick is pretty handy.
